San Blas, Golf del Sur.

The small but beautiful church of San Blas has recently been refurbished throughout and has hand worked hangings made by a regular worshipper at the church. In common with our other two churches, this is a shared church with Anglican services being held since 2002.

It is to be found in the San Blas plaza, nestled amongst shops, cafes and restaurants.

Until 2013 the church operated only during the winter months, October to April, with services on Sunday evenings. In the summer of 2014 it was decided to hold a local mission and since then the church has been open every Sunday, with services now at 12 noon. Occasionally the service may move to the evening, in order to allow the Catholic congregation to stage additional events following their morning service (see the home page for forthcoming service times).

There are also additional services at Christmas and Easter - check the home page for times.

After the service we meet in a local cafe, Mia Art, for fellowship.

How to get there:

San Blas, Golf del Sur

From the TF-1 motorway, exit at Las Chafiras and follow signs towards Los Abrigos. About half-way down the hill is a right turn to San Blas (it’s signposted and there aren’t many other turnings). Follow the one-way road around roundabouts and up the hill until you reach the commercial centre. Turn left at the T junction (the end of the road) and park in the large car park at the bottom of the hill. The church is located up the steps behind the first few cafes and Hiperdino.

From Golf del Sur follow the giant one-way ring road and turn right (signposted to San Blas) as you come up the hill. Take the first right to take you down past the commercial centre and park in the large car park at the bottom of the hill. The church is located up the steps behind the first few cafes and Hiperdino.

If you’re walking from Los Abrigos, Golf del Sur or even Costa del Silencio or Las Galletas, follow the coastal path until you reach the Hotel Vincci at which you cut inland to find yourself in in the large car park at the bottom of the hill. The church is located up the steps behind the first few cafes and Hiperdino.
